The more I rollerskate, the more I understand how important it is to complement my skating with other types of mouvement to prevent injuries and improve performance. 1. Box jumps This explosive workout will help you improve your jumps as well as strengthen your hip and quad muscles for more efficient pumping! 2. Pistol box jumps This will replicate jumping on a higher obstacle and into a grind variation (acid/soul) as well as greatly improve your hip and ankle mobility. Start with a smaller box or ask a friend to spot you. Do both feet on both sides to practice top side as well If you can't pistol squat yet, you can replace this one with one-foot step downs!
