To be heard and understood

Remember, listening to your heart doesn't mean dismissing your thoughts or rationale. It means giving your emotions a chance to be heard and understood. It's a step towards finding a balance between what you feel and what you think. Be patient with yourself during this process. To be loved is to be known, Is a feeling that goes beyond words. To be loved is to be understood, To be understood when words fail you. To be loved is to be seen, To be seen when you feel invisible. To be loved is to be heard, To be heard even in your quietest moment. To be loved is to be valued, For whatever it cost and take. And to be loved is to have a safe space, To have a home with sense of belonging that feels irreplaceable.

We all long to be seen, heard, and understood. But most of the time, I experience the opposite — invalidated.

People don't always just need help. Sometimes they need to be seen and heard, and to be reminded of what it's like to be in the presence of love. ♥♥
