This beautiful storage box looks like an old library book. It was first hand painted with acrylic paint in chiffon cream color. Then it was decorated using a raised stencil and decoupage technique- birs on a blooming branch rice paper. I added several clay moulds to frame this beautiful image, painted them and lightly brushed the flowers with pink to achieve this beautiful effect. All imperfections are intentional. The surface is sealed with several coats of matte, water based varnish for durability. Truly elegant, one of a kind piece. It makes perfect storage for jewelry, small craft items, tea, sewing tools or collection of tiny antiques or coins. Perfect for a gift! Light wood. Measurements of the box: 9 3/4"x 7 1/4"x 2"
