I made this a few years ago when I first became interested in fiber stuff. It was a kit. One of two quilt kits I ever did. It looked so plain when I was done that I've been adding paint, stamps, stitches and whatever else crossed my path for the past few years. Now it makes it's way out every holiday season to remind of us of the reason for the season.

At the AQS show last month the DMAQG always has a mini quilt silent auction. There are some pretty neat little quilts in there. I made a bid on this one and "won"! I love how the manger looks like a basket :) I just have to hand sew a little sleeve on the back so I can hang it up this Christmas. This girly embroidered quilt was from Karen.
