Congratulations, your doctor has given you the approval to exercise after having your c section. This is the 4th video in the Exercise after C section series, so today’s workout is your first body weight workout post op. It’s all about moving and re-patterning the muscles to move in your everyday mom life. Make sure you start with the last video in the series and slowly move up to this workout to eventually start weight lifting after c section if that’s what you want to work up to doing.
Yes there are some safe exercises that you can do in the first few weeks post operation other than walking around your neighbourhood. This is a restorative breathing exercise to help restore your core and tummy muscles to help with c section recovery and is the best thing you can do for exercise after having a c-section.
