Singer Conner Smith was behind the wheel of a truck that hit and killed a 77-year-old Nashville woman on Sunday (June 8).

Country music singer Conner Smith was involved in a tragic accident in Nashville on Sunday, June 8, 2025 — the final day of CMA Fest. Authorities say Smith, 24, was driving a pickup truck when he allegedly failed to yield to 77-year-old Dorothy Dobbins, who was in a marked crosswalk. Dobbins was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she later passed away. The incident has deeply saddened both fans and the Nashville community.
