Pittypat’s Clothing Co. on Instagram: "We posted this little #diy project one year ago...and we were shocked and delighted at how much attention it got! These #Chinoiserie pots were easy and fun to make, and we have used them over and over again. Wendy originally created them to use for a pop-up shop, and since then they have graced her porch. The blue and white motif can be styled for all seasons, from Halloween to Easter and more. One of these pots was even used as a fabulous ice bucket for beverages during a tailgate! #modpodge #decoupage #blueandwhite #preppy #chinoiseriechic #grandmillennial #lovepittypats #loveyourlook" Chinoiserie Pots & Planters, Diy Chinoiserie Planter, Diy Chinoiserie Vase, White Christmas Decorations Diy, Decoupage Pots, Diy Chinoiserie, Cardigan Tutorial, Chinoiserie Planter, Country Colonial

April | Home & DIY on Instagram: "DIY decoupage planter! I wanted a huge chinoiserie planter but they are hundreds of dollars and the thrift stores haven’t been *that* good to me lately.

I decided to make my own with a $30 planter from Walmart- it was the perfect shape! After I spray painted it white, I found these napkins from Marshall’s- I’ll link some similar ones! I cut out the individual designs leaving as little excess as possible. This was time consuming but gets a much better result. Then I peeled the napkins so that I just had the top layer with the design. From there I started ✨decoupage✨ I brushed mod podge onto the planter with a small paintbrush, delicately layered the napkin on and brushed mod podge over the top. Be careful not to overwork the napkin- it can be fragile! Onc Chinoiserie Planter, Diy Decoupage, Instagram Diy, Mod Podge, Thrift Stores, Chinoiserie, Decoupage, Napkins, Home Diy
