Mabuhay! Here's a time lapse of my creative process drawing the 'Filipina Girl with Salakot' I drew this because I personally wanted to share all of you a little bit of my Filipino Culture. The salakot worn by this dalaga (girl) is the traditional lightweight headgear of my country, The Philippines. It was substantially used during the pre-colonial period and very well up to this writing.
