You’ll want to gather your pinecones and set them aside
Make a simple flour paste by combining equal parts water and flour

Add the paste to your pinecones with a small paintbrush and sprinkle on (or dip in) salt. 
you can use whatever salt you have on hand but I used Epson salts because I have a whole bag and I think they look really pretty and shiny
this will give it a glittery effect in place of glitter 
leave them out to dry for a few hours and then use them however you would snow flocked pinecones in your decor. 

These will last until Christmas although a bit salt falling off is quite normal and easy to clean up.
