Wonderful art, sells really well the cursed vibe. Also a really fun take, to make a sort of fnaf game out of it. Trying to find and count the right words, while being thrown off by the monster makes for a fun challenge.
Although I wish there was some kind of ending/goal you were working towards.
Great art design. I didn’t full-screen the game, so I kept clicking random lines until I full-screened the game. Overall, a straightforward game, well done!
This is really polished, and the art is fantastic. My only critique is that it wasn't obvious to me how to hide the book, but that's a minor detail. Great work!
The art is icredible. I figured out what to do on the second try (and got 16). thanks

Do you get migraines? This captures how some feel, minus the monster, but including the inability to read and blind spot(s). Incredibly unsettling -- great work!
Great job on the feel of both the gameplay and atmosphere!
I think other than some quality of life feedback, like possibly using the mouse right click to hide the book as an alternative to the keyboard, and that the monster lingers a tad bit too long to be noticed, everything came together nicely!
Congratulations on completing the jam!
Unbelievable first jam, honestly you did amazing, and this is perfectly in scope, and well executed.
The monster stays on screen too long, and doesn't do anything other than float there, the smoke he disappears in is more comical than scary, the word mechanic is awesome, and really unique! all of my critique boils down to this; i wish there was more, the game is very well scoped, and i only desire more depth.
consider this jam a resounding success c:
I loved the art of this one. The gameplay was simple but interesting nonetheless.
Loved the art! It manages to create quite an oppressive atmosphere.
I wish it had a defined ending after solving a certain number of books.
I love your art!
Once I realized you can hide the book (I went into the game blind on purpose), the loop was fairly engaging.
I would have loved to see the right click used to hide and show the book so the player didn't need to touch the keyboard.
Overall, a pretty clean experience.
Thanks!
I wanted to add a bind to the right click but.... I forgot...
