How does the game fit the theme?
The player draws cards and decides whether to flip them or play them directly to earn scores. Faced up or faced down? Safe or risky? It is up to you.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All art and audio assets are either from free-to-use packs or purchased by me. Full credits can be found in the game.

I think at the end I played over the 3rd row of 'x' .. hahaha!I really enjoyed this one! Played for almost an hour! hahaha

Nice work with the tutorial! That kickstarted me right away 👍!The early game works very well and there is a nice strategy to it! I get that the score adapts in response to the hazard cards, but that's basically my only feedback on the game...

By the mid to late game, the lowering score makes it worth play all the cards on 'blind' to win in the first or second draw, therefore bypassing the token and flip mechanic .. by my 3rd 'x' row of plays, the goal was so low, that I could just play my single visible card without flipping anything else and win the round.

Other than that, I think a few polishing and quality of life tweaks will bring this game to the next level! (I think it would be nice to visually represent the stages we are in... I miskcliked and skipped some steps more often than I can admit, haha)

Overall, great visuals, great music and sound effects, I really wish for you to keep working on this one and bring this to a full release! Loved the concept!

At first I thought it will be too complicated for me, but tutorial really helped me! I like the minimalistic art style! Great game, I like it a lot :D

Its very nice and simple game to play. Taking risk matters when the difficulty is higher. Enjoyed playing it.

The gameplay is very barebones (boring at times), but the fundations are solid and it fits the theme of the jam well. If you added more cards and interactions I'd see this becoming a decent standalone arcade/roguelike.

Thank you for playing! You are right, actually this is kind of bones of the gameplay, I'd like to add more features to make the gameplay engaging and fun.

Your game felt really polished and responsive to play, great job! I enjoyed the clean UI and presentation. I played all my face down cards in first half of each round then tried to push my score over the goal using face up cards from my saved up tokens - super stressful~ @_@
