Was pretty fun, wish there were even more gun/weapon upgrades!

Awesome, very solid experience! Everything was smooth, from dodging to shooting. In the beginning I thought the enemy AI was too basic, but then they started taking into account my velocity, which was a nice surprise. Great work!

Extremely underrated entry, really great music, charming art, its funny and fun! The only nitpicks i have is the camera shake on every shot is a bit annoying and i wish there was more crazy upgrades.

I really loved the music, the sound effects… dude, how do you do that? It gave me the energy of Duke Nukem!

In case of the gameplay, very straightforward, just shoot cute cats while you control a cool rat, at one point I almost bit the dust due to the overdose of biscuits, but hey! You gotta risk it for the Biscuit!

I have to say, I really enjoyed the gameplay, and I say it fits the theme in a great way.

Mouse and cats was nice (have got some mice starting to infiltrate nearby) - although, maybe have some more options than just keeping pressed the mouse button for firing? Not really familiar with these kinds of games, but like, the more damaging shot the longer you don't fire?

Have only gotten to wave 6, so, maybe there are more efficient ways than keeping mouse button pressed, but basically, am asking, what would change if the mouse kept always firing at cursor direction, even without a mouse press, which seems to be the meta, once again, without taking into account special abilities.

Originally we planned on doing different types of guns that you could switch between, but unfortunately we didn't have time to implement that. As for why we have the player hold down the mouse button, it's because 1.) not all of the planned weapons would be fully automatic and 2.) there is some subtle knockback to the player when shooting, and we figured players wouldn't want to be constantly being knocked back with no way to stop it.

Thank you for your feedback and ideas!

Actual gem of a game! It is the most fun game i've played in this jam so far. the gameplay is fun and fluid and responsive! the music is nice, the art is nice as well. The screen shake kinda suck, but thank god for the option to disable it!

What I wish it could be improved is some sort of indication that show how much enemies the wave has left, as, when the wave ends, and you are where the upgrades spawn, you instantly pick them up, which suck. Also, an download version would also be nice, as the browser kinda explodes everytime I play any browser game, it fixes by switching browsers, but still, not ideal...

But overall a pretty solid game with a lot of potential.

Boy the last wave gets crazy chaotic. This was fantastic though! Really enjoyed it. I feel the screen shake on firing was a bit much, but other than that it was a great little shooter :)

This game really envokes that bullet hell/top-down shooter vibe, and I really love the voice clips. They remind me of those retro games that tried to add voice clips. The only problem I have with the game is that when there's something too much going on in the screen, it slows down, but I think it's just my laptop. 4/5 stars! Great game! 😁😁

Amazing, I like how everything is put together!

did think it was a little choppy but solid fun, the cats were pretty difficult to hit though because of the choppiness but i might also just suck bad

Oh no, what device are you using?

oop nvm idk what changed but I retried it and it wasn't choppy at all, adjusted my ratings sorry about that!

Thanks for trying it out again! Sometimes web builds randomly don’t work so I usually give it a couple of tries if a game seems obviously broken in a jam.
