This was great! Very creative idea for the theme and it worked really well! Hope you keep progressing on this game after the jam!
Very cute. I felt like I didnt really understand the impact of my actions and therefore didnt feel like i had a lot of agency. not sure why. But I love the concept of the game :) Very well done!
The art was so good and I could see this developed to add power-ups or other things on the ground and more chapters. I think this is the best game of the jam for me.
Super fun to play, Nice job! Is there a special trick to be able to defeat the dragon?
Thank you very much!
No special trick that I'm aware of from the few times I've played the game after submitting it. The dragon balancing is indeed pretty hard, and that's on us, we didn't take enough time during the last hours to properly test the game and balance it properly! It is beatable for sure (as we saw many people doing so), just a bit too hard compared to the rest of the game.
Super cool! I love the art and music, and I really enjoyed the idea! Great job! :D
Very beautiful artstyle and mediaval feel. I like the idea, very simple and elegant. Loved it. Recommended. Would appreciate the effort if you could rate my game too.
One of the best I have played as part of this Jam. Original idea, beautiful art, incredibly fun. You killed it down to the narrative!
lovely entry I love everything about this!
I adore this! It's like the train idea everyone had, but instead of that you're making a path for your heroes and revolve the whole game around that single mechanic! What a simple yet clever twist. Good job!
Love the on the fly strategic gameplay! Great concept
very neat gameplay loop, you can really turn this into something quite remarkable
What a great concept and awsome artwork! A full "Tower Defense" like this could be really fun. Congratulations!
This was so much fun!!! Such a cool mechanic, I love that you have the restriction to not be able to move the path the characters are currently in, it really ads some depth. This game needs to be expanded, it could really be a hit on mobile. Congrats!
Absolutely love this game! Simple to understand mechanics that work really really well and I also love the artstyle
Your art brought me in and the music kept me there
Extremely polished, fun, and I love the concept too. Well done!
Very novel concept, and enjoyable gameplay. Well done!
The music is so good. And the concept is great. The art is clean. And no bugs? What is this?
I am impressed by little touches like the aesthetic of the spawning at the beginning. It's immediately obvious how to play the game. Took me a little while to get good at it. A very solid short game. This concept could really excel with a touch screen version and some new flag types. It feels quite extensible. Thanks!
Thanks so much ! I hope I got all existing bugs :) but there might be some cases I didn’t encounter
Kudos to Robin for that early game design, he really nailed it. Glad you liked it ! I also thought “that game would be amazing on a touch screen” but I haven’t done anything close to a mobile game in years and I wasn’t sure how to approach this, so I decided it wasn’t a priority for a game jam. Indeed it feels quite extensible, happy to see other people actually liking this simple yet fun concept so much that they can easily imagine what more could be added. Thanks again for playing!
wow, im very impressed. this is insanely polished
looks insanely good, and the gameplay concept is really cool and unique! I ultimately felt like I didn't have much control because of the locked flags. But maybe making tiny loops to get guys as fast as I can from the buildings is just the wrong strategy haha.
Either way, incredible job!
Thank you very much!
The tiny loop technique is something we wanted to work on, as it's indeed a potential softlock issue since it can lock all of the flags forever. I'm glad you enjoyed it though!
