THE BLINDS return for the first time since 2017's self-titled tape released by the ever-potent Hobbies Galore with an angular, zigzagged and mishmash of tunes taking the form of a 7" vinyl record.

"Endless Fascination" operates in the negative space between Magazine and Wire with a dollop of poorly executed Rush to blur the lines of riffs and strategically placed melodies - maybe there's some Midnight Oil in there too. The result is confusingly enjoyable.

Recorded by Alex Macfarlane back in 2018 the band fizzled out and lost momentum due to varying life issues and side projects however the pandemic provided time to revisit and complete the songs. Once the final seal of "Mastered by Mikey Young" was applied, the form-meeting-content art from the minds of Alex Coxen (Milk Music, Mystic 100s) and Julian Hocking seemed aptly conjured and thus Endless Fascination is now fit for public consumption and savage scrutiny.
