TODAY’S ASSIGNMENT: TACKLE THE OUTER BORDER STAR BLOCKS

Here is my progress picture. My progress for April is a bit lacking. April has been a really busy month. So I will have some major catchup to do for our last check-in in May!

Hello my friends, it’s check-in #8 today for Blooming Scrappy QAL! If you are just now hearing about the QAL, here is the HQ for the scrappy where I will post links to all the check-ins on the HQ page. We are inching closer to a finish. In fact, I have seen quite a few beautiful finishes!!

Today is our catch-up day! You can either use this day to catch up on blocks from previous weeks, make the option outer border pieced blocks, or just start sewing the blocks together to complete your quilt top.

I have actually finished mine because I am not making those pieced blocks for the outer border.

I hope you have had fun making these blocks for the bonus sampler quilt! See you next week for our last week to conclude this quilt along!!

Remember to add (2) 2” x 3.5” rectangles to the top and bottom to (2) sprig blocks. And the half block is one without the stem/leaf unit.
