About Me!

Hola! I'm Jade Topaz (or you can call me Jadethyst, too!) :D

My pronouns are she/they, and I'm a feminine non-binary person who's still trying to figure out life and the world at every angle. I have an interest in the arts (mainly digital and traditional drawing, and photography), listen to a wide range of genres of music, read books occassionally, partaking in political affairs, and learning about history and social science (thus, the humanities)! I'm currently engaged in political activism with a variety of friends, advocating for social justice and equality, as well as building my presence as a young inspirational and international figure. I'm building to be a leader for marginalised communities and people everywhere and not for the elites who have gone far too long to pay back their dues to society and Mother Earth herself.

For computer stuff, I have knowledge in HTML and CSS (and perhaps a sprinkle of JavaScript).

When I'm not out on the frontline, I enjoy life as it is and try to lay back. I like taking walks with my Sony NW-A16 & 35 Walkman in possession and riding my bike when the weather is favourable. I really also love hanging out with those I cherish the most (I love my friends wholeheartedly <3). I draw and create OCs (original characters), plus in the process of creating an expansive OC universe! I'm constantly practicing my art skills to express a sense of creativity and become better at said creativity (it's also one of the ways I resist the soullessness and desolate trash that is generative-AI). I'm also trying to get back into playing music myself, too. I even am building up my own music collection for myself, as I am reducing my reliance on streaming services in favour of enjoying media I own, plus saving money in the long run. I'm also in the midst of a journey to balance my phone usage and utilise tools that can be both engaging, healthier, and also critical like notebooks, digicams, and anything else to cure my mind over time.

I'm currently learning Spanish as I'm moving to Spain/Europe (cue "We're Going to Ibiza") to pursue my studies in Political Science and International Relations. Europe is a really exciting and integral part of my journey in life and was a dream that has now turned into a pursuable reality. ^^

I also am working slowly to becoming a more empathetic person towards others, as this world is lacking quite a bit of it nowadays. Not only does this better myself and my friendships/relationships, but it'll heal the world a bit more! Better than nothing of course.
