Van Dammes are a garage punk quartet from Helsinki (Finland), formed in 2013.
The sound of Van Dammes has been described as contagious, good spirited, and fun as fuck.
Their fifth E.P. “Finally There” is a tribute to the Finland national football team which qualified for their first ever major championship as they attended the EURO2020. “(It’s Time For) Rivelution” is dedicated to the current manager of the Finnish national team, Markku Kanerva, who is known by the nickname "Rive".
This was something the whole nation had been waiting for decades, and a great inspiration for kick-ass garage punk songs.
Recorded in 2021 the E.P. contains three anthems, each tackling this historical event from their own perspective.
“Finally There”... finally on vinyl!!!
