Very Merry Card

This card uses the Stamping 411 Sketch#226 here. And I combined it with the Splitcoast Color Combination#346 here.   The colors to use are Rich Razzleberry, Island Indigo and Baha Breeze.
The base is Baha Breeze. I ran some Island Indigo thru the Big Shot with the Snow Burst embossing folder. I added some Rich Razzleberry DSP from the Patterns DSP Brights Stack. I stamped the snowman image from Tags til Christmas in Baha Breeze and used the Razzleberry and Indigo Stampin' Write markers to color in the hat and scarf. I punched it out with the 1 3/4 inch Circle punch and trimmed it down a bit.I used that same punch for the Breeze circle. I used the Circles #2 die for the Indigo circle. I punched the Razzleberry piece with the 2 3/8 inch Scallop circle and popped up all of it with Stampin' dimensionals. I stamped Very Merry from Short and Sweet in Indigo. Finally, some 3/8 inch Whisper White taffeta ribbon finishes it off.

One Card - Three Challenges

I started with a base of Crumb Cake card stock. Then, using the Stamp-a-ma-jig and the Solid Stripe stamp, I inked it up with Cherry Cobbler and stamped it on Cherry Cobbler card stock. I used the soon to retire Star punch to punch out a Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake and Night of Navy star. I adhered the stars to the Whisper White circle and ran it all thru the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka-dots textured impressions embossing folder. I then matted the circle with some Night of Navy. I stamped the star from Pennant Parade in Cherry Cobbler, punched it out with the Itty Bitty Shapes punches pack and matted it with a Navy circle punched with the 1/2 inch Circle punch. I then popped up the circle with a Stampin dimensional. Finally, I stamped thank you from Short and Sweet in Cherry Cobbler on Crumb Cake and punched it out with the Word Window punch.
Here's my recipe:

Stampin' Celebration Challenge Guest Designer

I'm thrilled to say that I am today's Guest Designer for the Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge #41 here. All these gals are soooo talented and I'm honored to be chosen this week!
The green printed tablecloth caught my eye, so I immediately thought of using the Perfect Details Texturz Plate on some Old Olive card stock. I added some Old Olive DSP from the Patterns DSP Brights Stack. I had to get some pink in my card too, so I started with a Melon Mambo card stock base. I added a touch of black with the Basic Black card stock and stamped the image from A Flower for All Seasons in Basic Black. I then colored it in with the Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Old Olive and Soft Suede Classic pads and Blender pens. The basket piece was matted with Melon Mambo, Old Olive and Basic Black then popped up with Stampin' dimensionals. I stamped thank you from Short and Sweet in Old Olive and punched it out with the Word Window punch. I added an Old Olive piece punched with the Modern Label punch. Finally, some 5/8 inch Old Olive Satin Ribbon finishes it off.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: A Flower for All Seasons and Short and Sweet

Thank You for a Sketch and Color Challenge

This Thank You came together pretty quickly thanks to the Clean & Simple Stamping FTL#127 here, and the Create with Connie and Mary Color Challenge #137 here.
Since the colors in the challenge are Rose Red, Pink Pirouette, Baha Breeze and Pear Pizzazz I had to use the Springtime Vintage DSP! The Rose Red card stock was run thru the Big Shot with the Square Lattice textured impressions embossing folder. Then I added a strip of the Springtime Vintage DSP. I stamped the big flower from Vintage Vogue on Pink Pirouette card stock in Rose Red. The little flowers were stamped on Very Vanilla in Pink Pirouette and Baha Breeze. And the leaves were stamped in Pear Pizzazz. I added a Circle Ice Rhinestone brad to the center flower and popped it up with Stampin dimensionals. I threaded a retired Rose Red button with a sliver of Baha Breeze. Finally, thank you from Short and Sweet was stamped in Rose Red.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Vintage Vogue and Short and Sweet
Papers: Very Vanilla, Rose Red, Baha Breeze, Pink Pirouette, Springtime Vintage DSP
Inks: Rose Red, Pink Pirouette, Baha Breeze, Pear Pizzazz
Accessories: retired Rose Red button, Circle Ice Rhinestone brad, Stampin dimensionals, Square Lattice embossing folder

Sale-a-bration Sneek Peek

I needed to make a baby card and thought of the Sale-a-bration Ice Cream Parlor DSP. The DSP also comes with a coordinating Accents Pack-it's great! Especially since we don't know if it's a boy or a girl, I think this paper works great for this card! I also used this week's FTL layout at Clean and Simple Stamping here.
The card stock base is Daffodil Delight and I added some Old Olive before adding the striped DSP from Ice Cream Parlor. The dotted and scallop print is also from the Ice Cream Parlor DSP. I stamped the turtle from Fox and Friends in Old Olive and punched it out with the 1 3/8 inch Circle punch. I used my Circles #2 Bigz die to cut out the Old Olive circle behind the Whisper White one. Those were then popped up with Stampin dimensionals. Welcome baby from Short and Sweet was stamped in Old Olive then punched out with the Word Window punch. A piece of Peach Parfait card stock was run thru the Scallop Edge border punch and I added some dots with my White gel pen. Finally, I stamped the diaper pin from Short and Sweet in Peach Parfait, punched it out with the 1/2 inch Circle punch and popped it up with a Stampin dimensional.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Short & Sweet and Fox and Friends
Papers: Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Peach Parfait, Ice Cream Parlor DSP
Inks: Old Olive and Peach Parfait
Accessories: 1 3/8 inch Circle punch, 1/2 inch Circle punch, Circles#2 Big Shot die, Word Window punch, Scallop Edge Border punch, White gel pen, Stampin dimensionals

Very Merry Card for Three Challenges

Here's another Candy Cane Christmas DSP card but I used the Short & Sweet stamp set. It also qualifies for three challenges. First, PPA#69 here. Second, the Stamping 411 Color Inspiration #144 here. And third, the Splitcoast Demo Challenge #176, CAS Holiday Cards, here.
Real Red textured card stock is the card base. Then I used the 1 3/8 inch Square punch to punch the four squares from the Candy Cane Christmas DSP. I ran a piece of Baha Breeze card stock thru the Scallop Edge border punch and added dots with the White gel pen. I stamped Very Merry from Short and Sweet in Real Red on Whisper White and punched that out with the 1 3/8 in by 5/8 in Oval punch. I stamped the snowflake from that set in Blushing Bride and punched it out with the 1/2 inch Circle punch. I popped those two pieces up with Stampin dimensionals. Finally, a piece of 1/2 inch Blushing Bride stitched-poly finishes it off.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Short & Sweet
Papers: Whisper White, Baha Breeze, Real Red textured card stock, Candy Cane Christmas DSP
Inks: Real Red and Blushing Bride
Accessories: Scallop edge border punch, 1 3/8 inch Square punch, 1/2 inch Circle punch, 1 3/8 in by 5/8 in Oval punch, White gel pen, Stampin dimensionals, 1/2 inch Blushing Bride stitched-poly ribbon

Non-traditional Clean & Simple Christmas Card

So this one is for the Clean & Simple #92 challenge over at Splitcoast here. It was to make a CAS card using Pink Krafty Olives for the colors with an option of Marina Mist(I used Baha Breeze instead).
I started by running the Crumb Cake card stock thru the Big Shot with the Northern Flurry textured impressions embossing folder. I sponged some Whisper White Craft ink on the snowflakes to make them pop a bit. I punched out some Baha Breeze DSP from Elegant Soiree with the Itty Bitty Shapes punches pack and added them to three of the snowflakes. I used an Old Olive Glimmer Brights brad in the center of the largest snowflake. I drew some white lines with my White gel pen. Very Merry from Short and Sweet was stamped in Old Olive. Finally, I added some 1/2 inch Blushing Bride stitched-poly ribbon.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Short & Sweet
Papers: Crumb Cake, Elegant Soiree DSP
Inks: White craft ink, Old Olive
Accessories: White gel pen, Northern Flurry embossing folder, Itty Bitty Shapes punches pack, Old Olive Brights Glimmer brad. 1/2 inch Blushing Bride stitched-poly ribbon

SUO Challenge #5 Punch Art Thanks

I made a card for the SUO Challenge#5, Punch Art, here.
I started with a base of Daffodil Delight and added some Greenhouse Gala DSP. That was layered on to some Chocolate Chip card stock. I ran one edge of the Chocolate Chip thru the Scallop Edge border punch and added dots with the White gel pen. I colored the flower stamp from Friends Never Fade with my Chocolate Chip, Real Red and Pear Pizzazz Stampin write markers and stamped that on Whisper White. I ran a piece of Chocolate Chip card stock thru the Big Shot with the Square Lattice textured impressions folder. I then used the Ornament punch to punch out the "vase". I stamped thank you from Short & Sweet in Chocolate Chip on Whisper White and punched that out with the Word Window punch. I layered that onto a Daffodil Delight piece punched with the Modern Label punch and adhered that piece over the Chocolate Chip ornament piece, making it look like a vase. A piece of 1/8 inch Daffodil Delight taffeta ribbon finishes it off.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Short & Sweet, Friends Never Fade
Papers: Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Daffodil Delight, Greenhouse Gala DSP
Inks: Chocolate Chip Classic Pad and Stampin write marker, Real Red and Pear Pizzazz Stampin write markers
Accessories: Ornament punch, Word Window and Modern Label punches, Square Lattice embossing folder, 1/8 inch Daffodil Delight taffeta ribbon, white gel pen
