Hi, I'm Joel Olawanle

I'm a software engineer, technical writer, and editor from Nigeria. I build products, dig into technical problems, and write about what I learn.

At Kinsta, I work as a Technical Editor, where my work ranges from writing and editing to technical research, performance benchmarks, API projects, and internal tools. I'm also a co-founder of Spidra and NGN Market, where I write code and work across product, documentation, marketing, support, and sales.

A lot of what I'm interested in lately sits around APIs, AI agents, automation, developer tools, and how software behaves once real people start using it.

From my blog

I use my personal blog for things I learn while building products, investigating technical problems, and experimenting with new tools.

Work with me

Most of my time is split between Kinsta, Spidra, and NGN Market, but I occasionally take on technical writing, editorial, developer education, and engineering work when the project is a good fit.
