Introducing the newest member of the IKKAI matcha bowl family — and the beginning of a new collection I’m calling the Yuki Series ❄️ Yuki means snow in Japanese, and it felt like the perfect name for these calm, grounding pieces. The soft white glaze flows gently over warm toffee clay like melting snow, and every bowl turns out completely unique. No two the same — just how I like it. 🍓strawberry kitty matcha bowl 🌱🌸 I’ve been wanting to do painted chawans and cute miniature kitties, so here’s a combination of them!! There’s a small flaw but I wonder if anyone can spot it in these photos 👀💦 ALSO!! I made the foggy glossy glaze on the inside of the chawan, from my glaze class. I am so proud of myself.
