We wanted to do a ring warming ceremony, but even with the few people we had coming, it would have taken too long. Instead, we had black and white rocks placed on the chairs and asked people to hold them during the ceremony, thinking good thoughts and wishes. Once the ceremony was finished, guests were asked to write their name on one side and one word on the other and place them in a bowl near our guestbook mat.
