I extended our science birthday party theme to our favor bags. I made playdough in the three primary colors for color-mixing and then left the rest simple by buying food-safe test tubes to contain some Canadian smarties and sour candy.

take-home goodies: white bags with names on pockets (to look like lab coats) to carry everything in - each kid got lab coat, goggles, badge with name (I have SO many plastic badge holders if you want some), book of lab notes, pen, container of gak made at party, lava lamp made at party, a few science tools we used and had extras of (funnels, measuring cups, balloons, alka seltzer tablets, etc. - still have some extras of some if you'd like them), and a goodie bag of party favors
