Venice's Ca Sagredo is a precious gem if there was ever was one. It dates to the 15th century and was the home of the Morosini family for over 100 years. The Morosinis were dedicated patrons of the arts, and their palace fully reflected their tastes and their wealth. In 1661 the palace was acquired by the noble Venetian Sagredo family, whose ancestry is documented back to the 11th century.
