Traditional Christmas

Hello, sweet friends! My hubby and I moved into our new home and although boxes remain unfinished (including crafty goodies!), I'm grateful for new beginnings and sweet blessings. I will be catching up as soon as I can. Words cannot express how I miss you!

I'm posting on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog today, sharing a festive inspiration. I have an affinity for traditional Christmas colors, so today I have a card in deep reds and emerald greens.♥️
My beautiful blossoms have been trimmed with Glamour Dust for Christmas sparkle.♥️The gorgeous papers are from LemonCraft's Christmas Carols, which are from my sweetest friend Lisa's store.
Nestled amongst the flowers is a Red Bead Berry Spray, which adds the loveliest textures.♥️The reindeer bauble and snowflake chippies are from Wycinanka.
Thank you for visiting and I wish you a beautiful day!♥️

Baby Love ♥︎

Hello, sparkly friends! I am in the midst of moving (a happy thing!) but will be checking in very soon! I hope your weekend is as beautiful as your hearts! I'm sharing a sweet little Welcome Baby card on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog today. This is also my contribution for the 10/31 challenge at Deep Ocean, where our theme is Inspired by a Song/Movie!

Is there anything more precious than baby love (and sweet lullabies)? ♥︎
To celebrate the new arrival, I have used several of Wild Orchid Crafts' dreamy blues. The pastel and antique blue blossoms are a favorite of mine (especially for wintry creations). ♥︎ My darling papers are from LemonCraft's Tiny Miracles. Oh how these make my heart dance! The sweetest little baby is tucked within a sparkling Wycinanka chipboard frame. I paired it with a stunning Ornate Lace 3D embossing folder from Crafter's Companion.
For a trio of larger delights, I have paired the new Lotus with a Trellis Rose and a Magnolia. The Mixed Pastel Magnolias collection is truly magnificent. ♥︎ For additional touches of blue, I nestled in Aster Daises, Lilies, and Cherry Blossoms.
My card base was made with Sue Wilson's Ornate Pierced Design in her Noble collection. It is a lovely set! It is trimmed in my favorite polka dot ruffle lace. My sentiment is from My Craft Spot (no longer in business.)

Thank you for visiting and I wish you a wonderful day! ♥︎

Blossoming Love

Happy October, precious friends! I hope you're having a blessed weekend. I'm excited to tell you that I continue to improve and made this card yesterday with the smallest amount of pain in years. It brings tears to my eyes! Thank you for the endless love you've shown me. :)

I'm posting today on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog, sharing a love card featuring the newest WOC rose: Chelsea! Aren't they stunning? I incorporated two ivory chelsea roses and I am thoroughly enamored with them. ♥︎
The large pink magnolias are from the pastel magnolia set. They are perfectly dreamy and pair beautifully with the chelsea roses. The gorgeous shade of pink also appears in several other flowers, with the sweet cherry blossom being my favorite. ♥︎
Nestled up top is a white Lotus, which is also a recent addition to WOC. The blossoming heart trails downward to miniature sweetheart blossoms and tiny rosebuds. The edges of my flowers are painted in sweet sparkle. ♥︎
My gorgeous papers are from LemonCraft's Just Love Me collection (it's nearly all used up now!), while the pretty chipboard elements are from Wycinanka. The heart die-cut is from Crafter's Companions Love is in the Air set. Thank you for visiting and I wish you a beautiful day! ♥︎

Hugs,
Karen ♥︎

Snowy Christmas

Hello, sweet friends! I hope your week is off to a sparkly start! I'm posting today on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog, sharing a snowy Christmas inspiration.

I used Foamiran for my poinsettia, which has a lovely soft effect; perfect for a peaceful Christmas. :) For a festive pop of red, my poinsettia is centered with a red bead berry spray.♥️
Cascading from either side are babies breath fabric flowers. Their wispiness and pearly elegance make my heart dance! Although the white option is currently out of stock, the pale blue is available and would be stunning for wintry Christmas creations.♥️
I created a ruffly lace snowdrift, lined with my favorite flat-back pearl string, before nestling in a Wycinanka chipboard Christmas tree. Self-adhesive pearls were sprinkled atop.♥️The sentiment is from My Craft Spot (no longer in business), which is cut out with a Spellbinders banner die and trimmed with lace.
Tucked within my floral arrangement are pearl snowflakes and frosted berries. The sparkling iciness of winter is magical.♥️The pretty papers are from Pion Design's The Night Before Christmas.
Thank you for fluttering on by and I wish you a beautiful day. :)♥️

Beautiful Friend

Hello, treasured friends! I am posting a friendship card today on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog, which features Foamiran flowers. This is my first time working with them and I enjoyed it immensely.♥︎
For my first try, I used Rosy Owl-Heart Flower dies with pink and purple foam. I am eager to experiment with coloring white foam, but I do love these vibrant shades of pink and purple. They are pure happiness.♥︎ My chippies are from Wycinanka, while my papers are from LemonCraft's Tiny Miracles. Oh how dreamy they are. ♥︎
The large flowers are centered with white and pink bead berry sprays, while the smaller flower nestled between them is centered with pearl stamens. I incorporated lovely flowers of pink, purple, and sunshiny yellow into my arrangement.
Tucked within my flowers are my favorite leaves... the light green and baby pink combination makes for the sweetest foliage possible.♥︎ Thank you for fluttering on by and I wish you a beautiful day!

Celebrating Love

Hello, precious friends! I hope you're having a beautiful day. I will be visiting you this week, which fills me with endless joy. I'm popping in with a quick post, as I am on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog with a sweet little love card. ♥︎
Blue and pink is one of my (many) favorite color combinations, so I topped my Maja Design sky blue paper with sweet pink and pristine white. Wild Orchid Crafts pinks are irresistible. ♥︎ My chipboard sentiment is from Wycinanka.
Gorgeous Pink Mist Cottage Roses called to me for this occasion. They are exceptionally beautiful, especially for a romantic card. Nestled amongst them are a variety of flowers, blossoming in love. ♥︎ Miniature Sweetheart Blossoms are too adorable for words, so I tucked in a few.
A stunning Filigree Metal Corner brings a touch of shiny elegance, while Pink Tulip vintage seam binding adds a ruffle of softness. ♥︎ The darling butterfly is a Sue Wilson die.

Thank you for visiting and I wish you a beautiful day! ♥︎

Sweet Christmas

Hello, treasured friends! Thank you for the endless love and well-wishes. I remain in the midst of this healing journey, so I am not yet back as I'd like. With all of my heart, I pray to be soon!

I'm posting today on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog, sharing a wee bit of sweet Christmas. I have a beautiful stash of red WOC goodies which had sadly been neglected. They inspired this festive creation using darling papers from Pion Design's The Night Before Christmas. ♥️
I especially love the deep reds, which are perfectly rich for traditional holiday colors. The red bead berry sprays are delightful accents, while the cherry blossoms remind me of warm-centered poinsettias. (That's my excuse for using these sweet blossoms in a Christmas card.) ;) ♥️
The Cruise Beige vintage seam binding is centered with one of my favorite embellishments: Flat-back Pearls in a Diamond Circle. How stunning is the deep red, bursting with Christmas love.♥️ My sentiment is trimmed with the ever-versatile White Net Lace. The sweet scene is framed with a Wycinanka Blueberry Swirls chippie.
Oh the beauty of Wild Orchid Craft flowers.♥️ Some lovely pearl snowflakes are also nestled within.
My card base and coordinating filigree layer are from Sue Wilson's Delicate Garden set. Thank you for visiting and I wish you a blessed day!♥️

I Hold You in My Heart

Hello, friends! Always know how much I treasure you.♥︎ I am posting today on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog, sharing a shabby encouragement card.

It has been a difficult week grieving the loss of the sparkliest cancer warrior. At only 9 years old, Tessa inspired and loved beyond measure. She lived down the road from me, filling my heart with her light. ♥︎
This card is for one of the many people whose heart has been shattered. I want to remind her that even though we feel broken, we are being held by the ultimate healing love. I adore Wild Orchid Crafts pastels, which made it easy to add pops of sweet pink love (roses/leaves) and sunshiny yellow (cherry blossom). Tessa is everything beautiful... pure love and sunshine.
Vintage Seam Binding and Lace are knotted together for shabby bunting, while gorgeous Autumn Blossoms ruffle atop it. Each knot is placed between the pearls of WOC's lovely Pearl String, which is very pretty in person. A few pink and yellow ribbons were added to reflect Tessa's sweet little self. ♥︎
Flat-back Pearl String adorns my Wycinanka chipboard frame for added elegance. The sentiment is from JustRite. For a touch of sparkle, Bead Berry Clusters are nestled alongside the cherry blossoms. The clusters are one of my favorite WOC embellishments to sprinkle in my creations. ♥︎ The beautiful papers are from Pion Design's Where the Roses Grow

Tessa's love will forever blossom within all who cherish her. ♥︎
Thank you for fluttering on by and I wish you a beautiful day! ♥︎

You Are Amazing ♥︎

Hello, precious friends! I have some wonderful news: I will begin sprinkling your blogs with love today, for which I am grateful! I dearly miss you and am thankful for your endless love and prayers during tribulation. ♥︎

I'm posting on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog today, sharing some sweet and sparkly inspiration. ♥︎ This is also my DT contribution for Deep Ocean, where we are playing with a fun Bingo Board! This card is to bring nature's beauty to a cancer warrior who is unable to enjoy the outdoors.
Amongst my pink and white flowers are pops of sunshine with pastel yellow cherry blossoms and mini sweetheart blossoms. I couldn't resist using the lovely organza rose trimming, as it pairs so beautifully with LemonCraft's Tiny Miracles collection. ♥︎ Plus, it's just gorgeous!
Atop my crackled Wycinanka birdhouses are sparkling embellishments: Rhinestone flowers with diamond centers. They are so darling that I sprinkled a few extras throughout my card. ♥︎ WOC pearls serve as my birdhouse hangers and also line the sentiment nestled within the bouquet. For pretty texture, I lined the back of the birdhouse openings with vintage seam binding.
My card base and floral frame are from Sue Wilson's Delicate Garden die set. The delightful birdies are from Resting Birds by Memory Box. How dreamy it is to play with Wild Orchid Crafts goodies.... I pray it delivers healing love, engulfing her in everything beautiful. Thank you for visiting and I wish you a blessed day. ♥︎

Birthday Love

Hello, precious friends! This year has been unlike any other but I am valiantly fighting to regularly craft once again and sprinkle your work with sweetness... thank you for the continual love. I am forever thankful for you. ♥︎

I am posting today on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog, sharing a wee bit of birthday inspiration. ♥︎ This is also for our new delightful challenge at Deep Ocean, where we are playing with furry/fuzzy friends! Pure sweetness.
My darling mother's birthday is fast approaching! To celebrate, I've combined vintage pink with classic white and soft green. My papers are from Maja Design's Vintage Romance.
Along with gorgeous flowers, I've layered lovely trims and elegant pearls. I love the combination of the fabric babies breath with vintage seam binding... the softness and wispiness make my heart flutter. Wild Orchid Crafts is a treasure trove of sweet beauty. ♥︎
My chipboard elements are from Wycinanka, two of which have been painted with Crackle Paste. Thank you for fluttering on by and I wish you a blessed day! ♥︎

All My Love

Hello, treasured friends! It has been fairly quiet this year on my sparkly little blog, but I am truly back at last. Heartfelt gratitude to those who have stuck with me and to my dear friend Lisa for filling in for me at WOC. I am thankful for all of you! ♥︎

I'm posting on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog today, sharing a sweet little card. One of my favorite aspects of cardmaking is that it is such a beautiful way to deliver love. ♥︎
Atop a Wycinanka lacy chipboard heart are pale pink and white flowers, chosen for their sweet delicacy. This is for a kindred heart who is soon releasing her first inspirational book.. I want to remind her that my and God's love are with her every moment of this journey. ♥︎
Tucked within the blossoms are gorgeous WOC metal embellishments: a lovely crown pin and sparkly rhinestone pearl. Layered trims provide extra softness, while a whimsical Sue Wilson butterfly reveals beauty within... along with a pearly path of hope. ♥︎ Fluttering from the corner and beneath the Marianne Design Wave Border are my all-time favorite Wycinanka Summer Wedding borders.
The papers are from LemonCrafts stunning Heart Painted collection. I hope this encourages my friend's beautiful heart. Thank you for fluttering on by and I wish you a beautiful day! ♥︎

Dream

Hello, sparkly friends! After a month away, I am grateful to be crafting again! Thank you for sticking with me. ♥︎

I am posting today on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog, combining two of my favorite themes: gardens and ballet. ♥︎ I made this for a cancer warrior who dreams of returning to dance... to encourage her to never give up on the miracle she needs. The gorgeous papers are from LemonCraft's Just Love Me collection.
My pretty papers are from LemonCraft's Just Love Me collection, which are perfect to lift up a downcast heart. WOC purple flowers are exquisite, especially when blooming in abundance. I adore Tea Roses, which I have paired with sweet Cottage Roses and Hip Rosebuds. White Babies Breath and Seam Binding add touches of softness to our spring garden. Pearls are irresistible to me, so a gorgeous Crown Pin is tucked within my flowers and I used a Pearl Heart for corner detailing.
My ballerina is a Marianne Design die, which is adorned with Self-Adhesive Pearls and Net Lace. The gorgeous Blueberry Swirls Lattice is a Wycinanka chippie, which I have given a white-wash of acrylic paint. The lovely heart is also a Marianne die, which I have sponged with Milled Lavender distress ink.
Lilies and a beautiful Magnolia blossom above, while stunning Rose Organza Trim (small) lines the side. I love this precious recipient with all of my heart and pray this reminds her that with unwavering faith in our dear Father above, all things are possible. ♥︎

Thank you for visiting and I wish you a blessed day! ♥︎
