I study privacy, platform power, and technology regulation—combining large-scale empirical measurement with legal analysis. My work has examined tracking across millions of mobile apps, the practical effects of the GDPR and EU AI Act, and the power of Apple and Google in the app economy.
I lead Comp4Good, an interdisciplinary team focused on AI auditing, and the €800,503 RegTech4AI fellowship. I also co-lead the €4.7 million REGULAIRE doctoral network and projects on platform data access. I have secured €1.8 million in research funding as principal or co-principal investigator.
