lyrics
Speak the word in my ear,
Power drenching every syllable you speak
Knowledge breathing; take it in, take in everything
Stars align finally
Words asunder burn so sweet,
Trapped inside an indistinguishable feat.
I crawl inside of your membrane
Every word is part of my display
Seep through your ears and your eyes
I am the master bringing light to this everlast plite
Finite
Harvest this lifetime from the stratosphere
Singing every line that I wished to hear
Bones that once did ache, dulling from this gift
What was once my mind, is now an earthly myth
My time it is now
Reaping what is sowed
Dialect of old
Speaking what is known
My time is right now
Time has taken hold
Cast in wealth and gold
Breaking down the mold
The songs are masterfully composed and flow together beautifully, and the orchestration is exactly how I want metal orchestration to sound: full, playable by a real orchestra, and just as important to the music as the vocals, drums, guitar, and bass are. tonycordeshimself
I was quite a few years late to the party on this one, but it's still a blast! The ambition and the rawness and rough edges reminds me of albums like Emperor's Anthems, even though it's a completely different genre. It is in in a perfect state between skill and stretching a bit beyond the order of skill into chaos to grasp greatness. This is what describes the "flow state" in humans and I bet they tapped into it hard while making this! barsknos
Ciao a tutti! This full-length from Silver Talon is a great record. Their US Power Metal really hits the mark: tight rhythms alternating with very catchy acoustic parts and Wyatt Howell's excellent vocals. It brings a tear to my eye because he reminds me so much of Warrel Dane (R.I.P.), my ultimate teenage idol. As you’ve probably figured out, I’m biased: anything that sounds remotely like Nevermore or Sanctuary is a must-have for me. Anyway, Silver Talon kick ass. spacciathemax
The Indonesian act Kekal leaves no genre unturned, colliding black metal with industrial music with melodic post-rock on this stunning LP. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 25, 2023
Blinding, cinematic black metal with rich layers of synth make for an album sweeping in scope and punishing on impact. Bandcamp New & Notable Dec 5, 2016
