Honeycomb Candy
10min · 12 servings Ingredients (8-12 servings) • 1 cup sugar • 1/4 cup water • 1/4 cup honey • 1/2 teaspoon salt, plus more for sprinkling on top • 2 teaspoons baking soda Instructions 1. Pour the honey, water, sugar, salt in a deep pan on medium heat. Occasion the mixture until it starts to simmer. 2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and grease it with a bit of butter or oil. 3. Once the mixture gets to 145-150°C - it’ll look slight thicker and darker in color - stir in the baking soda. The mixture will foam up immediately. 4. Pour the hot mixture on the baking sheet and let it cool completely. Once it has hardened, snap it in smaller pieces & serve as it is, or coated in chocolate. It works well sprinkled over ice cream too!
