Just before Christmas, we went 2 days in Milan. It was a great time, because there were Christmas decorations everywhere and the luxury store windows were very well decorated. We found 2 days sufficient for what we wanted to do, but if you want to visit museums and so on, I recommend 1 or 2 more days. It all depends on what you want to do.
