Numbers in other languages

The Sharda or Śāradā alphabet developed from the Brahmi script during the second half of the 8th century AD. The earliest known inscription in the Sharda alphabet dates from 774 AD and was discovered in a village called Hund in the west of Pakistan. Used to write Kashmiri, Sanskrit and a number of other languages in the northwest of India, the Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and in parts of Central Asia. (...)

Aramaic (ארמית, Arāmît): The Aramaic alphabet was adaptaed from the Phoenician alphabet during the 8th century BC and was used to write the Aramaic language until about 600 AD. The Aramaic alphabet was adapted to write quite a few other languages, and developed into a number of new alphabets, including the Hebrew square script and cursive script, Nabataean, Syriac, Palmyrenean, Mandaic, Sogdian, Mongolian and probably the Old Turkic script. Eskayan is a language isolate spoken on the Philippine island of Bohol. The exact number of speakers is uncertain and while the language is unrelated to any other, it does share syntactic and morphological features with Boholano-Visayan, the main language of Bohol, and there are also Spanish influences. The Eskayan people speak Cebuano as their everyday language and use Eskayan for prayers, songs and formal speeches. (...)
