Bottle Top Bee Hives with Hand Print bees - easy kids craft that is both educational and very cute!

Have your kids make a cute bubble wrap beehive with fingerprint bees! This is a cute craft that is easy to make and doesn't cost much. All you need is paint, paper, and markers!

This is a really simple and effective 2D bee craft. The bee shape is a rough oval cut out of a quarter of a sheet of A4 paper - I used paper as that was a brighter yellow than the card. The wings and stripes are made from cardboard - this is more sturdy for toddlers as they tend to screw up smaller paper things. We used 1cm googly eyes. For an alternative Bee Craft, last year we made this fantastic paper cup bees. The toddlers made a superb swarm of bees.

Today we talked about Honey Bees 🐝 and told them Honey Bees are the only Insect makes food we eat called honey. They drink nectar from flowers and collect pollen to make honey 🍯 and also Bees have 5 eyes ( 2 big ,3 small ) The children had so much fun making Bees craft then running around chasing each other with them making Buzzzzz Buzzzz... sound .
