Still immensely enjoying using the Lost City asset pack. Decided to create more images with it transporting myself into the land of adventure in the likes of Indy or Uncharted series. Since I already have those assets in Clarisse its reasonably easy to create new compositions. However, it does take long time to put together image like this. - I experimented and learned lots of new techniques during this project. All the custom assets are modeled in Maya and composed in Unreal Engine 5, using both tiling and baked textures in Substance Painter & Designer. -I had a lot of fun creating my custom foliage by using ZBrush to sculpt high poly and baked down to low poly, and I modified some variations both inside SpeedTree and composed by hand. “Canals of Utrecht” is a simple project I did on my spare time to show one of the workflows used to create environments in movies. The scene has been developed in Blender with the use of few materials and models from Poly Haven. I recorded a tutorial for anyone interest and I did some color grading variations to show the atmosphere we can get from it.
