The Principle of Design used is Dominance as the title of the poster is a significantly larger size then the write-ups. Also, the word "monologue" is bolded and in a different font, drawing attention from the readers eyes first. The message is that there is a monologue competition calling out for participants to join. The message is conveyed clearly as the large emphasis on the words gives the reader an overview. I like the design as there is a theme of colours that is present in the poster.
