These creatures were the first creations of the primordials, spawned long before the concepts of form and function among beings had been defined. However, when the Dawn War occurred, the Hecatoncheir had already been cast out by their makers, deemed to be nothing but failed experiments. Hecatoncheires ( lit. "Hundred-Handed Ones"), or Hundred-Handers, also called the Centimanes, , named Cottus, Briareus (or Aegaeon) and Gyges (or Gyes), were three monstrous giants, of enormous size and strength, with fifty heads and one hundred arms. In the standard tradition they were the offspring of Uranus (Sky) and Gaia (Earth), who helped Zeus and the Olympians overthrow the Titans. People have always feared giant creatures, especially if they are humanoid.

For instance, ancient Greeks had several types of monstrous giants, one of them being Hecatoncheires, giants that had fifty heads and a hundred arms each.

According to greek mythology, the Hecatonchires were 3 giants (who each had 50 heads and 100 arms) who helped Zeus defeat the Titans. This is my interpretation of one of these creatures.
