1. Apply glycolic acid (like Ordinary 7% Glycolic Acid Toner) with a cotton pad on areas you shave 2-3x/week. This helps to exfoliate, loosen trapped hairs and brighten dark marks from ingrowns. It may even help straighten hairs to make them less prone to growing into the skin. 

2. Lather PanOxyl 4% cleanser in the shower before shaving. This helps to soften hairs and decrease skin bacteria for a closer shave and less irritation. Leave on for 1-2 minutes before rinsing off, and always follow with a layer of shaving cream before shaving for the best results.

3. Make a DIY ingrown hair patch using hydrocolloid pads. Instead of tweezing inflamed ingrowns, get hydrocolloid pads from the drugstore
