My most experimental knit sample. A series of mistakes meant for a unique and interesting outcome! I firstly machine knit wool with ladders and dropped stitches, pulling the dropped stitches. Thermoplastics didn’t work, so I then put foiling on the top, cut it into strips and re knitted it on the machine with a metallic yarn. I then hand stitched the middle section back on.

Below are a selection of knitted samples which I have subsequently affected using a variety of techniques and materials... Textured yarn dripped with white latex... Plain knitted sample with a transfer paper printed image on top... Two dubied knitted samples hand felted together... Smashed Porcelain pieces encased in a knitted sample and tied with yarn... Knitted sample with bleach... a loosely knitted textured sample hand felted... Knitted sample covered in clear latex...
