PRINCIPLES: Rhythm - Rhythm is a sense of movement and is necessary to create interest in a design and carry out the central theme. Rhythm can be achieved by the repetition of lines, shapes and colour to get direction. This particular garment we see gradation which is patterns gradually changing. The change in patterns slowly transitions from one to the other. Beginning from the top of the skirt, the black colour slowly transitions into a grey and then ending off with a white.
