These little baskets are called ‘vol-au-vent’ and they’re typically savoury.

We had the idea to make a sweet version and this recipe filled with caramelised, cinnamony apples does not disappoint 😋

Here’s what you’ll need:
👉 1 sheet of puff pastry dough, cut 6 discs and gently mark a smaller circle on 3 of them. You can use glasses.
👉 2 apples, peeled and diced
👉 2 tsp cinnamon
👉 1/2 tsp nutmeg
👉 1 tbsp sugar
👉 walnut-sized piece of butter
👉 egg wash

Bake on 180C (356F) for 10-15 minutes or until golden, then stuff with apple filling and serve with vanilla ice cream ✨✨
