Inspired by the iconic samurai kabuto designs, I started this helmet on Gravity Sketch as an exercise to explore the tool. It was such a cool and fun workflow! All of these designs are purely imaginary; I'm not trying to recreate anything with historical accuracy.

Samurai Helmet/Kabuto model made in blender, texturing in substance painter, and a little help with zbrush. For handle the sewing on the helmet, I add some extra separate geometry on top the model, rather than only bake it on flat model.
