Little Victories already has a special place in my heart but this one is even better. Energetic build-ups combined with emotional violin - for me this is Post Rock at its finest!
Favorite track: So Quietly Falls the Night.
"Nightbound" is definitely our most mature and challenging work to date. "Little Victories" was good but there are some predictable post-rock cliches we were trying to avoid while working on "Nightbound". It's way more diverse and recognizable, even though we're still influenced by other musicians obviously… but this time around it's rather Swans and King Crimson than Godspeed You! This album is a masterpiece, so many emotions, such heroic stories, and some epic guitars. The emotions hit you in the form of a wall of sound that reverberates through your soul and fills your heart. The best album ever produced, every second of every song heals you. Honestly, I can't pick a favorite song cause they're all incredible! Bogatyri just stands out in its unique sound and the epic crescendo 🔥 Lots of love and thanks to We Lost The Sea 💙 swapnilm
Three great tunes on this EP – hard to pick any as a favourite above the others, as they all really impress. Strong melodies with emotional weight and impact are what you get from Sleeping Bear. And yes, they certainly do rock. Michael Reilly
