 … diesen Song von Holger Biege mit dem wundervollen Songtext von Ingeborg Branoner hatte ich sofort im Kopf für das Thema „faces“ diese Woche bei SPA. 

“Dein Gesicht (Your Face)” …  … that song by Holger Biege with the wonderful lyrics by Ingeborg Branoner immediately came to my mind for this week’s “faces” theme at SPA.  
Roughly translated, the lyrics from the song mean: 
„Every day writes stories on your face and mine. And anyone who can read won’t miss them.“
(The English translation doesn’t even come close to capturing the essence of the lyrics…)

…für die Herausforderung diese Woche bei OMM, „Choose A Shape“, habe ich einen großen Stern gewählt. Das Thema hat gut gepasst, um nach einigen digitalen / hybriden Beiträgen mal wieder die Stempel auszupacken, und lsozulegen.

Bold Leap … For this week’s OMM challenge, „Choose A Shape“, I chose a big star. The theme was a good fit, allowing me to dust off my stamps and get started again after several digital/hybrid posts.
The german saying by Keith Haring means roughly: „Nothing is as refreshing as a bold leap beyond the boundaries.“

Ein Sommernachtstraum

… diese Woche für SPA zum Thema „Shakespeare“.
Da muss(te) ich mal wieder mit Stempelmotiven passen, auch wenn ich einige wenige Stempelabdrücke von meiner Stempelfreundin Sabine hatte…
Berühmt sind Shakespeares Dramen wie Hamlet, König Lear, Macbeth, Romeo und Julia sowie weitere. Ich habe mich bei meiner digitalen Umsetzung für eine Komodie entscheiden: „Ein Sommernachtstraum“. Zusammen mit der bezaubernden Musik (Overtüre und Schauspielmusik) von Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy ist das einfach wunderbar in einer Aufführung zu genießen. Und wer kennt ihn nicht, den bekannten Hochzeitsmarsch? 😉
Aus all diesen Überlegeungen ist dann meine digitale Collage entstanden.

“A Midsummer Night’s Dream”… this week’s SPA theme is “Shakespeare”.
Once again, I had to pass on using stamp motifs, even though I did have a few stamp impressions from my stamping friend Sabine…
Shakespeare’s dramas such as Hamlet, King Lear, Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet and others are famous. For my digital creation, I chose a comedy: “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. Together with the enchanting music (overture and incidental music) by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, it’s simply wonderful to enjoy in a performance. And who doesn’t know the famous Wedding March? 😉
My digital collage was inspired by all these considerations.
The quote from “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” roughly translates to: “How can fortune be so capricious?”

Ich hatte wenig Zeit, und bin nach einem ausgiebigen Spaziergang im Netz auf den frechen Froschkönig-Spruch une eine wunderschöne KI-Illustration gestoßen. Das habe ich mir *gemopst*, und eine schnelle digitale karte damit erstellt. 😎
“The Frog Prince” … for OMM this week on the theme of “fairy tales”.
I didn’t have much time, so after a long online search, I came across that cheeky “Frog Prince” quote and a beautiful AI-illustration. I borrowed it and used it to make a quick digital card. 😎
Taht quote means roughly: „When you take ››The Frog Prince‹‹ to bed with you, you’re tempting the stork“. (In German, the “stork” refers to the one who brings the babies.)

diese Woche für SPA um Thema „Hasen / Kanninchen“.
Das passt zum Osterfest. Hat doch Herr Hase jedes Jahr ordentlich zu tun, um die Eier zu färben und zu verstecken. 😉
Dieses Jahr musste ich einfach mal den frechen Hasen von Katzelkraft aus dem Set „We’re all mad here“ in Szene setzen! 😄
Und damit wünsche ich allen meinen Blog-Lesern bunte Ostern und eine fröhliche „Hasenparty“.

It’s perfect for Easter. After all, Mr. Rabbit has his hands full every year dyeing and hiding the eggs. 😉
This year, I just had to feature the cheeky rabbit from Katzelkraft’s “We’re All Mad Here” set! 😄

In den April geschickt habe ich heute niemanden …, mich dafür aber ein bisschen „verrückt“ auf meiner Karte ausgetobt. 😉

I didn’t play any April Fools’ pranks on anyone today… but I did let my “crazy” side run wild on my card. 😉

Frühlingszauber

in „rosa & gelb“… ist diese Woche die Herausforderung bei OMM.
Das ist für mich echt eine Herausforderung, weil ich gerade diese beiden Farben zwar oftmals in meinen Reste-HG mit dabei habe, aber meistens nicht alleine. Farbkombinationen sind oft für mich schwierig. Ich mag es eigentlich lieber so richtig knallig bunt. 😉
Hier habe ich dann mit DO in pink-yellow meinen HG gestaltet. Etwas softer, denn ganz so knallig hat es mir überhaupt nicht gefallen. Zusammen mit Stempeln von Penny Black, Stampin Up! + Craft Emotions habe ich dann versucht eine vorösterliche Frühlingsstimmung einzufangen.

Spring magic in “Pink & Yellow” … that’s this week’s challenge at OMM.
This is a real challenge for me because, while I often have these two colors in my leftover BG, they’re usually not used on their own. Color combinations are often tricky for me. I actually prefer really bright, bold colors. 😉
So I made my BG with DO in pink and yellow. A bit softer, because I didn’t like it quite that bright at all. Together with stamps from Penny Black, Stampin Up! and Craft Emotions, I tried to capture a pre-Easter springtime vibe.

Frühling lässt sein blaues Band

„… wieder flattern durch die Lüfte…“ diese Woche für SPA zum Thema Frühling.
Jetzt blühen wieder die Frühlingsblumen in all ihrer Pracht: Krokusse, Narzissen, Tulpen, Anemonen und Ranunkeln. Ich habe mich für meien Karte für blaue Anemonen entschieden.In natura sind sie dann eher lila-blau. Das hätte aber nicht zu meinem HG in den pastelligen Fabrn, blau, grün, gelb, organe gepasst. Die Art den HG-Stempel in Aquarelltechnik zu benutzen stammt aus einem Video von Tracy Evans.

“Spring lets its blue ribbon flutter through the air once more…” ( the first two lines of the poem “Er it’s” by Eduard Möricke) … this week’s theme for SPA is spring.
Now the spring flowers are blooming again in all their glory: crocuses, daffodils, tulips, anemones, and ranunculus. For my card, I decided on blue anemones. In real life, they’re more of a lilac-blue. But that wouldn’t have gone well with my background in pastel colors—blue, green, yellow, and orange.
The technique for using the BG stamp with watercolors comes from a video by Tracy Evans.

Mit dem Katharine-Hepburn-Spruch von HeinDesign wollte ich schon immer mal eine Geburtstagskarte gestalten. Die Frauenmotiven von Katzelkraft passen aus meiner Sicht perfekt dazu. 😉
Virtuell gebe ich den Kuchen gerne an Deann weiter. 😉

Birthday Cake … this week for OMM.
I always wanted to create a birthday card using the Katharine Hepburn quote by HeinDesign. In my opinion, the female motifs by Katzelkraft are the perfect match. 😉
I’d love to virtually pass the cake on to Deann. 😉

… diese Woche zum Thema „Favorite Flowers“ bei SPA.
Ich mag alle Blumen, aber besonders gern die ersten Frühlingsblumen: Krokusse, Tulpen, Narzissen, Anemonen, Ranunkeln. Und weil Krokusse mit ihrem Blütenmeer gleich nach den Schneeglöckchen blühen, habe ich sie für meine Frühlinhgskarte ausgewählt.☺️

I love all flowers, but I especially love the first spring flowers: crocuses, tulips, daffodils, anemones, and ranunculus. And because crocuses bloom right after snowdrops, creating a sea of flowers, I chose them for my spring card.☺️
