Now onto the Description:
Kaiju Breaker is a near-future sci-fi story inspired by Pacific Rim—but told as an intimate, choice-driven IF. You step into the cockpit of the Misfit, an experimental single-pilot Jaeger defending a coastal city as the Kaiju evolve and the truth inside the Drift starts looking back. Rescue runs turn into cover-ups, friends disappear, and every mission forces you to choose what—and who—you’ll protect when the alarms won’t stop.
Immerse yourself by shaping your pilot’s look, name, and pronouns, picking a background that unlocks unique lines, and shaping your personality. Build bonds with your crew and pursue optional romances each changing scenes, missions, and loadouts in distinct ways or just continue solo. Your call.
Your choices write the mission reports…and the memorials.
You’re a ghost with a callsign. The day the sirens swallowed your city, the Defence Bureau pulled you out of a ruined academy and shoved you into something new: the Misfit, a single-seat Jaeger no one is sure should exist.
They say the Kaiju are learning. They say your machine is, too.
Your job is simple: keep people like Elara alive, follow orders, and don’t ask why the Drift sometimes hums like a heartbeat in your skull. But missions stop going to plan. Hushed files surface. Friends go missing. And the pattern you’re not supposed to see starts repeating-on the streets, in the breach-scars, inside the cockpit.
Save the city, or find the truth. Either way, something breaks.
• Create your Jaeger pilot. Shape build, hair/ eyes/markings, and earn story-driven scars that persist. Pronouns and name fully custom.
• Unravel the whispers. Follow threads that blur the line between pilots and monsters; what you uncover-and who makes it back-is on you.
• Bonds under fire. Earn trust in the cockpit and the quiet after; choose who you fall for-and what you’re willing to risk to keep them. (fade-to-black, optional)
MAYA - THE RIVAL
Maya is the Bureau’s sharpest shot and your most persistent problem. She audits your calls, outpaces your drills, and hates that she can’t quite hate you. What starts as score-keeping turns into a race you both need to win-until the numbers blink wrong and she has to choose between being right and choosing you. Will you burn each other down, or sharpen each other into something unstoppable.
JAX - THE SHIELD
Jax turns disasters into exits. He jokes through smoke, lifts what no one else can, and refuses to be the reason a kid doesn’t get home. You’re the first person he can’t carry without breaking something in himself. Do you teach Jax to share the weight-or let him love you the only way he knows: all in, even if it burns.
DR. THORNE - THE DOCTOR
Thorne keeps the city alive with steady hands and a voice that cuts through panic. They’ve zipped more body bags than anyone should, and they don’t have patience for heroics that make more patients. Then you keep coming back-with new scars and stranger vitals. How far should care go when the person you’re saving is the weapon the city need?
KENNY - THE ENGINEER
Kenny can make wreckage sing. They barter for impossible parts, laugh in the face of error codes, and treat hope like a solvable equation. With you, the blueprint stops being theoretical. When the prototype works too well, do you publish it, bury it-or point it at the sky?
