Stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.

- Morgan Housel - Best Story Wins

- Christopher Walken in a  live-action version of Puss in Boots. This was a real thing

- Spacehey a "reincarnation" of MySpace and a "competitor" to Facebook. Wouldn't be surprised if things like Spacehey become more numerous and popular. Like upgraded message board communities without the exploitative big-brotherism of  Facebook.

-There should be a movie about Dick Tuck. It could end (or begin) with the Watergate break-in.

- "Thou Shalt Not Suffer a Cat to Live." The Catholic Church's forgotten war on cats. (But what about Christopher Walken as a cat?)

Flotsam and Jetsam

Miscellaneous thoughts and observations.

Whenever I read "Huawei technology" my mind always reads it as "Nortel's technology" because that's where they stole it. I can't believe Canadians aren't more pissed off at China for ruining one of their biggest employers and the biggest technology company in the country...  Kept reading this story thinking it would make a great Ben Affleck movie (almost tailor-made sequel to The Town). Of course Patriots fans know Vladimir Putin is the greatest Super Bowl ring thief in history... Such a good prank - I want those stickers... And just like that - nobody was talking about Jeffrey Epstein anymore... THE ICE IS GONNA BREAK!... Good luck with your Super Bowl squares today. I don't have a rooting interest in today's game but I would like to see a lot of points (if you know what I'm saying). It would be cool to see Tom Brady get his seventh Super Bowl ring though (and for Cameron Brate to catch more then 4 passes and for the coin flip to come up heads)...

Top 5 - Christopher Walken Movies

Happy 75th birthday to Christopher Walken. My favorite Walken movies:

1. The Dead Zone
2. Pulp Fiction
3. Suicide Kings
4. Biloxi Blues
5. The Deer Hunter

His role in the 2002 Man on Fire almost makes the list just for the fact that the last thing he says in the movie is "I have nothing else to say." He meant that he had no more lines in the script but the director left it in the final cut.

As a bonus - here's Walken reading Where the Wild Things Are

Stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.

- Look at Bill Clinton's, George Bush's and Barack Obama's expectation of dealing with Vladimir Putin and the realities they found.

- How Cosmos bungles the history of religion and science. I was looking forward to the show but have frankly been underwhelmed. The original Cosmos was truly original but now there are so many good science documentaries that the new Cosmos isn't really breaking any new ground.

- New Ebola outbreak in Africa. Nothing scares me like crashing and bleeding out.

- The daily routine of geniuses.

- Christopher Walken - dancer

- Call Me A Hole. One year old and still a great mash-up.
