captain-el-writes asked:
Why didn't you tell us there was a bonus episode coming, Neil? I'm in love! You finally gave Morpheus a girlfriend!
Also, the way she calls him by his Greek name "Oneiros" instead of Morpheus all the time is WHOLESOME and I'm here for more.
(Ex-wife, really. Not girlfriend…)
And I didn’t tell you because I wanted it to be a surprise.
Aww, they took down some of my shit, well, they didn’t take it down, they buried it. Not a surprise. Guess I won’t be posting anything here no more. Solar Eclipse 2017
We are stardust; we are all made up of stuff that was made by stars. The Sun is our local star. We are its progeny. We are children of the Sun. The Sun is our Father. Who art in heaven. The Earth is our Mother, of course; She gave us life and bore us out of her body, which was made fertile by stardust. The Moon is like the midwife; her dance with Mother Earth sets the rhythm of Life. The tidal vibration of the big round ball. Powerful life-giving energy is flowing from and to these three celestial bodies constantly, unfailingly. As they dance. At times, some times, the dance brings them into a line with each other. We stood on the surface of our planet, right over the center, the heart of Mother Earth, which was lined up with Father Sun and nurse-practitioner Moon, so the flow of energy was three layers deep, focused on us. The energy of Everything: Life, Love, Joy. We bathed in it; we were Sun/Earth/Moonbathing. We should have taken off our shoes. For that moment, we were standing on holy ground. We were being blessed by our creators as they danced around us. Everybody there was so happy; not smiley-face blissed-out everything-is-all-sparkly happy; we were all full to bursting with joy and love and life. For at least that moment, we all loved each other. The rush I was getting came not from the impossibly beautiful mandala up there; it came from all around me there on the surface of our Mother’s body. We were surrounded by the glow of sunrise/sunset. I wasn’t thinking of it in those terms at all at the time, but in retrospect I realize that that was a genuinely spiritual experience. That had nothing to do with Jesus Christ, or Mohamed, or Buddha, or Krishna, or the Flying Spaghetti Monster. The energy of Everything is Spirit, and that’s what we were getting.
I did not pray. I did sing:
I live on a big round ball.
I never do dream I may fall.
But even some day if I do,
Well, I’ll jump off and smile back at you
I don’t even know where we are.
They tell me we’re circling a star.
But I’ll take their word, I don’t know,
but I’m dizzy, so this may be so.
I’m riding a big blue ball.
I never do dream I may fall.
But even the high must lay low,
so when I do fall I’ll be glad to go.
Yeah, when I do fall, I’ll be glad to go.

Coming back, in the endless traffic jam, everybody was miserable, but nobody wished that they hadn’t gone.
