Honestly the number of people in that thread claiming that walking 3 miles in 45mins was some super human ability was shocking. I’d bet good money that they have never actually walked more than 5 mins anywhere other than maybe when shopping.

Nah I don’t think I do actually
DrCake@lemmy.worldto World News@lemmy.world•New party founded by Corbyn adopts Your Party as nameEnglish31·27 days agoCan’t really see much good coming from yet another left wing party. To the left of labour you have the Greens, Lib Dems, Plaid (Wales), SNP (Scotland), and now this new party.
All this does is split the left vote and make it easier for Reform under FPTP. Plus once this inevitably collapses, it will just put their potential voters (mostly young people) off politics rather than vote for another party.
I hope I am wrong but I think Corbyn has really misjudged this one.

Even if he did let Norris past, so what? It’s just a game Verstappen wont fuck you just because you stood up for him online.
The testings fine, it’s the hours that are a real pain in the ass
He’s going to win it again isn’t he

Great to pick a UK company so the investment will stay here as much as possible.
What a time for Doku to score. Liverpool getting back into it and he’s now killed it as a contest.

I read that as you saw a comment on here that said that?

I remember the EU5 review being really choppy and it turned out they were running it on like 6-7 year old hardware. It might just be a cost cutting measure to not buy the latest stuff for all their reviewers but I basically ignore most of what they say now.

Say that’s about 1/3 the cost of an e-bike (it’s more like 1/2 but some can get very expensive). For the same level of subsidy you only get 680 cars (average $50k, 1/2 subsidy). Unless it’s still a $1k subsidy in which case what’s the point, who will that persuade who wasn’t already going to buy one? So incredibly wasteful

Countries need some kind of way to test these like human driving tests. Some kind of automated verification system for each update before it can go public.
Otherwise who’s to say Tesla, for example, won’t release a buggy update that becomes worse? They are already releasing versions that allow the car to exceed the speed limit by x amount so to me that would be an instant fail on a test.
