Did you find a satisfying solution for the doorbell?

I’m about to entirely rework my home automation to use HA + Matter + Zigbee, but I’m still using a Ring Doorbell.

I’m honestly surprised at all the hate this game is getting. I don’t know if what I’ve been seeing on social networks is a very vocal minority, or if I’m in the minority.

I liked HZD story and universe, didn’t care much for the gameplay (felt too much like Ubisoft). I tried HFW but didn’t play more than a few hours, it felt like a forced sequel, the story arc was complete at the end of HZD, and the gameplay was as boring as the first one. To this day, I still don’t get how anyone could be excited about a third game, which would just be more of the same.

I’d be way more excited by a totally new IP from Guerilla, and maybe a different type of game. Or a return to killzone.

When I heard of a monster hunting game set in the horizon universe, I was intrigued. After seeing the reveal, I have two major gripes: I don’t like the characters animation, and I don’t like the fact that I won’t be able to create my own character. I’m also not sure about the time limited aspect of it, but we’ll see. Still willing to give the game a chance, and see how they will act on the feedback.

Has it ever occurred to you that not everybody is you, and people have different tastes ? Some gamers want to play the latest COD, others are Final Fantasy super fan, and others want to play Zelda and Mario. Most people even just play on a smartphone! (Disgusting, I know).

Not specific to 40K, but Goobertown Hobbies is one of my favourite channels. It’s a mini painting channel, always positive and beginner friendly, with a lot of useful advice regarding painting techniques.

Je vais aller à l’encontre de tous les commentaires ici, mais j’ai une Tesla et j’en suis très content. Les gens que je connais qui roulent en tesla en sont également super contents, et envisagent souvent de remplacer la seconde voiture du ménage par une seconde tesla.

Je n’ai pas constaté de différence d’autonomie, mais si j’ai bien compris, ça se manifeste surtout à basse température. On verra cet hiver.

Malgré mes appréhensions, l’écran central est finalement très bien. Tout me tombe sous la main quand j’en ai besoin, et je ne me sens moins gêné qu’au volant de ma Toyota et son système multimédia daté.

L’autopilot de série (qui n’est rien de plus qu’un Cruise Control) fait un super boulot.

La planification de trajet fait également un bon boulot pour prévoir les recharge (vous pouvez simuler des trajets sur le site officiel pour vous faire une idée).

Seul point négatif, je trouve que les caméras pour aider à la manœuvre se plantent assez souvent à évaluer les distances.

Bref, entre ce que je vois dans la presse et mon expérience, il y a un gouffre. Ce qui ne veut pas dire grand chose, mon expérience personnelle n’a aucune valeur statistique, mais je voulais quand même donner mon avis à contre courant, pour éviter qu’on se retrouve avec un Hivemind façon Reddit.

J’ai passé 80 heures sur Zelda Totk, je pensais enchaîner sur FFXVI. Je n’ai qu’une envie: continuer de jouer à Zelda. FF est toujours sous blister.

Selon moi, Totk est effectivement un excellent jeu.

I bought my ender 3 in 2019. I have great success with it, but I only achieved this level of quality and reliability by fine tuning it and upgrading it. My 150€ printer is now closer to 400€, with all the upgrades.

If I where to buy a new printer today, I would definitely go for something more plug’n’play.

Aucun, je trouve que la qualité des interactions en visio est bien meilleure. Par contre ça ne fonctionne bien que si la boîte a une culture solide du télétravail et du travail asynchrone.

Les boîtes à l’ancienne, où tout se fait via des réunions, n’arrivent pas à adopter une culture teletravail de qualité, et finissent pas rejeter en bloc le télétravail plutôt que de se remettre en question.
