  • the progressives of the 18th, 19th, & early 20th centuries also didn’t like the genocides and ethnic cleansing that happened in the united states, canada and australia, but the overwhelming majority of people in each country did anyways just like it’s happening rn in isreal. and look at were we are now: native americans, first nations and aboriginals (respectively) are now severely disadvantaged by every single measure; next to no one thinks any of it should be repaired with reparations; and our leaders have successfully sanitized all media of the bloody violence and death that it took to for these nations to exist so next to none are questioning it.

isreal is following this same recipe but accelerated and i predict that, by the turn of the next century, isreal will be in the same situation as it’s fellow anglosphere partners and that historical sanitization will be applied to both school textbooks and social media like zionists are doing rn to tiktok.

future generations will know very little about the pushback against these preventable atrocities like before and come to believe that we were simply more barbaric “back then” and are more enlightened now like americans, canadians, an australians believe they are today compared to their predecessors.

  • i loathe the idea of giving google more money, so lineage via eos & murena is most likely the path i’ll take. and also, none of my phones are compatible so i’ll have to get a new phone.

i learned the hard way through buying chinese brands that international phones are hit-&-miss with wireless android auto (wired android auto works fine) and all of murena’s offerings are international. plus some bands are also not supported w international phones so they sometimes get poor coverage in some places like underground parking garages in the united states.

that’s only reason why i haven’t pulled this trigger yet and i vacillate for a couple of reasons and i think that the second biggest is that i ultimately plan to stop using this car and wonder if it’s best to wait until wireless android auto stops being a requirement.

(banking apps can be hit or miss, and the Uber app I believe blocked it).

but this is still the biggest reason. personal testimonials show me if the apps i want to use are supported

Hadn’t heard of IodeOS either until seeing that chart. They also seem a bit slower than Lineage for certain updates, but for the more privacy minded, may be the best option for non-pixel folks.

the price points w iode are much better murena but that nothing phone looks really nice.

  • macs always feel smooth and snappy; they’re well polished compared to the core/libreboot clevos i had previously and i really like my macbook m2.

the price tag always get me with macs and they were the primary reason why i bought those clevos: i had the dubious pleasure of carnally getting to know a quartet of very highly placed engineers/directors/managers while i lived in silicon valley and what i learned during the pillow talk about both the company and about the employees makes me refuse to ever buy from them.

so, instead of spending the $$$ on mac hardware; i spent it on core/libreboot as my feeble and almost infinitesimally small middle finger to apple as well as my equally feeble & small (plus lazy) attempt to leave this world slightly better that i found it. lol

i haven’t yet figured out if it’s the institution or the employees that makes apple the biggest display of labor aristocracy i’ve ever seen and i doubt i ever will since not even most of their employees are aware of oniony layers of palace intrigue that goes on at the top. (no wonder why the forced chinese had to sell off grindr; that’s the only other way you can find this shit out). lol
