Don’t forget the 8 heads of cabbage.
I literally eat whole heads of raw cabbage on the daily as part of my “lose a ton of weight without having to cook by noshing on tons of veggies and exercising” project 😄
Oh god, I imagine it goes…
(Eats a head of cabbage)
Oh god, I never want to eat again.
(Skips every meal to avoid cabbage.)
Nah, I love cabbage and because it’s so full of fiber and water as well as low in calories, it keeps me full for a long time and does wonders for my digestion while keeping my caloric intake low lol
Sounds like my kind of diet. Low effort for the win. Good luck!
Thanks!
If there’s one thing I’ve learned from countless attempts over 25 or so years it’s that when it comes to losing weight and getting in shape, the most important thing is to make it as easy and fun for yourself as possible.
I’m not gonna run every day, cook every day, or starve myself. That’s just not going to work long term.
Going on my exercise bike every day and ingesting a ton of cabbage, other fruit and veg, as well as moderate amounts of dairy and lean meat that doesn’t need to be prepared for protein? THAT’S something I can and will do!
So far, I’ve dropped a little over 50 kg, my blood pressure isn’t too high anymore, and my resting heart rate is as good or better than when I was 18 even though I still weigh 20-30 kg more than I did back then!
if someone didn’t is to me I would kiss them
There was going to be rabbit haunch too, but the salt pile was used for some potion
Every few months I get the insatiable urge to make “peasant dinner” which is just a big loaf of bread (usually sourdough), butter, and some kind stew.
Highly reccomend
Mmmm… stew in a bread bowl, my beloved.
Damn, it’s been far too long since I have had stew, I don’t cook, and I have no idea where to get any around here ☹️
If you have a slow cooker or dutch oven, making a basic stew is a simple as cutting veggies and throwing that with some broth and beef cubes for a few hours. Spice it with a lot of thyme and garlic. For a better broth, consider red wine (the cheapest is fine) and thicken it with corn starch.
I always do stews for myself and I live alone. You can store the extra portions in mason jars, keeps very well, though if you’re doing that I recommend whole small potatoes since cut ones will dissolve over time.
stew is simply boil’t. Just put a big plastic bowl in a microwave, heat to a rolling boil, then turn it down to a simmer
i guess boiling stew in a plastic bowl is peasant-style but please don’t
It’s not that I lack the ability. It’s that i live alone (not counting The Fabulous Staredycat Sisters since they’re not offering any help in that area) and don’t have the attention stamina to do anything more involved than putting something in my oven, microwave, or air fryer and take it out when it’s done.
Provided that I remember to set a timer on my phone when using the oven so I don’t forget all about it with disastrous consequences again…
Crock pots are set and forget really. We leave ours running all day while we are gone half the time, just gotta make aure there is liquid so it doesn’t dey out.
aha, oven stew is really easy!!!
One block of cheese is not enough, you need to eat the whole wheel.
Preferably mid-combat
No sweetroll, 0/10.
It was stolen.
The sweetroll was the one who prepared it for you, btw
Would
Have
Dinner
Tonight
Damn honestly that looks pretty good right now.
I would boil them together first though.
Cheese
Yes, please.
Honestly give me a knife to slice things with and that’s a half decent meal
I don’t see any sweet roll. Did someone steal your sweet roll?
Add in some Skooma, and you got yourself a deal.
Hold yer horses dragon, I must feast upon 40 wheels of cheese.
I have seen a young man eat one of those Colby blocks. Mortifying.
Yeah, you’re supposed to eat them in the dead of night, paring pieces off like an apple and eating them off the knife.
