I lucid dream frequently, and it does help. However - and I’m not sure how common this is - the lucidity tends to drop in and out. Sometimes I’ll go back to believing it’s real, or I’ll only identify parts of the dream as a dream. The mind works in weird ways.

That has always bothered me too. Then I wondered: what if lightsabers can’t slide down when they’re touching like metal sword can? Maybe they’re “stuck” in place. Do we ever see that happen?

One of my favorites is the Jedi master robes. In the original trilogy, Lucas clearly intended Luke’s black robes to be the “master” garb, but Obi-Wan was already so iconic that future Jedi wound up matching the bland desert outfit that he happened to be wearing.
