You’ve made me realize I don’t watch too many post apocalyptic movies lol. As far as my recommendations go, Pontypool is an underrated gem IMO. Sort of takes place as the apocalypse is happening, so not quite the same, but it’s a fun watch. The Mist is similar, but is pretty emotionally heavy by the end.

Was trying to get it set up earlier, but doesn’t look like it has good Linux support yet. I could also be stupid, I never rule that out.

I just talked to my younger sister the other day. She has been on the verge of being homeless for the last 6 months, works an entry level fast food job because it’s the only work she can find, and is actively dealing with serious mental health issues that have hospitalized her on more than one occasion. She has no idea what’s going on, but would vote Republican in an election because of being pro life.

People like her will only become informed if the government drastically changes their life, positively or negatively.

Hi! I also got Linux running recently. Not sure what distro you used, but a friend recommended Nobara to me since it comes native with all the things necessary to run Windows games, like Wine. So far I haven’t had any issues, but none of the games I play use kernel level anti cheat.

The murder/rape/mutilation of a 15 y/o girl happened in 2007, at which time Autumn (killer) identified as a man.
Autumn was diagnosed with gender dysphoria in 2014.
She has requested to be moved to women’s prisons, and back men’s prisons multiple times since then.
Most recently, when in a women’s prison, Autumn played with her genitals and buttocks in a sexually suggestive manner in front of other incarcerated women, who felt uncomfortable and petitioned for her transferal.
Autumn experiences harassment in male prisons.
The system expresses difficulty finding a place that can accommodate her.
She is clearly not well.
