Under a pub in South London a studio was built during the pandemic. This place has been a hub ever since. With a lot of people going through it, and being in it, and a lot of recent and very successful albums having been recorded in it, it’s a vibrant space.
The musicians behind the scenes, collaborating on those projects, have begun working with Def Pressé and will be releasing music under their own names. There will be the same spirit of collaboration and the same fusion of genres, all based around highly skilled Jazz musicians, playing Jazz music... we’ll hear Grunge, Hip Hop, Punk, Indie, Lo-Fi, with a Jazz foundation. "Volte-Face" stands out in its bravery to accept a real mixture of influences. The decision to release the album on vinyl underscores the duo's commitment to preserving the warmth and authenticity of their sound, offering fans a tangible way to enjoy their music..
